Found: Passport in Ireland

Date : 10/11/2019
Property Lost: Passport
Lost Place: On the Airplane
Lost Country: Ireland
Lost Airlines: Aer Lingus Irish Airlines
Flight Number: EI238
Lost Date: Nov 10,2019
Lost Time: 15:45:00
Location Details: I placed my passport in a plastic pocket with my boarding pass and showed the boarding pass on entering the plane. I was seated in seat 10A and could not find the plastic pocket with passport and boarding pass while waiting to collect my luggage. I immediately notified a member of Gatwick airport staff and they told me to go to an Aer Longinus desk which I did and they immediately rang the aeroplane and told the staff to check seat 10A where a Japanese passport was found but not mine. I was told to notify Aer Lingus lost property which I am doing now. I suspect that my passport with boarding pass may have fallen out of my coat pocket in the overhead bin or it is stuck in one of the Aer line magazines in either seat 10A or the one beside it which was empty. I did check under my seat before leaving the plane as I usually do but did not see anything. I would be very grateful if you could notify me ASAP if the missing passport is found. I am at a conference at the Grand Hotel in Brighton for the next two days. You could also try contacting me at 353876658112. Many thanks, Dr Claire Powrr
